5-11-21  THOUGHTS

From His loving kindness, God has promised!  Think this morning on those promises!
1Kings 8:56     "Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant.
Acts 2:38-38-39   Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  39  "For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself."
Acts 13:22-23    "After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will.’23  "From the descendants of this man, according to promise, God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus,
Rom 4:16   For this reason [it is] by faith, in order that [it may be] in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Rom 9:8-9    That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.  9  For this is the word of promise: "AT THIS TIME I WILL COME, AND SARAH SHALL HAVE A SON."
Rom 15:8  For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God to confirm the promises given to the fathers,
Gal 3:22   But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Titus 1:2   in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,
Heb 4:1  Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.
Heb 8:6   But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.
Heb 10:23   Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
Heb 12:26  And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN."
2Pet 1:4   For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of [the] divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
2Pet 3:13   But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
1John 2:25   This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.
The Revelation letter is a PROMISE letter!

My Prayer:
Thank you O God  for promising and for keeping promise.  Our hope rests in your kind intentions for us, Accept our love and praise as we wait for the completion of your plan.
In the name of Jesus    Amen
